Harman Gill

My name is Harman Gill and I am an emerging industrial designer with a passion for innovation and problem-solving. Currently I am enrolled in the Industrial Design program at Humber College in Toronto. I love every element of design, especially sketching and ideation because it is a direct outlet for my creative thinking. I believe that inspiration, creativity and ideas, can come to life simply through observing your surroundings and being curious as to why things are the way they are. I am inspired by designers such as Dieter Rams because of the thought process put into good design. I feel every design should have an emotional response and I hope to bring life to every project I work on. I look forward to expanding my skills as a designer and seeing where it takes me in the future.

Introducing the Deparment of Videography a picture is worth a thousand words, a video is worth a thousand pictures; so over the past few weeks we have been working on getting videos of our products uploaded to Youtube. These short videos demonstrate how our products look while burning the canned fuel. They are short and to the point, yet they tell  a story that words and pictures cannot.

This theory of videos recently inspired us to seek out a new medium to communicate our company story. Along with our usual bloging, facebooking, tweeting and rendering, we have decided to add video into the mix. As of May 1st Develpro and all of our brands will be having a Videographer join the team.

We will be shooting videos for our fans to have an in depth look into what we do, who we are and how our products work. You will get to see the dynamic layout of our team and be able to follow a product from concept to completion.

Our video department will be led by Adam Poirier a third year student at Humber College, backed by the creative guidance from our Core Team.

We hope you look forward to the amazing summer to come because we are anxious to show off all of our talent. Stay tuned for more videos to come, readily available on our Youtube channel.
